Information: Official JJB Wigan Athletic home football shirt from the 2006/07 season, their 2nd season in the Premier League. Wigan struggled to repeat the successes of the previous seasons' 10th place finish and fell victim to "second season syndrome". They were knocked out of both domestic cups at the first round of entry and finished 17th in the league, securing Premier League survival on the last day of the season in an away win against Sheffield United, who were relegated instead on goal difference. A day after the end of the season, manager Paul Jewell resigned after six years in charge of the club. The shirt boasts the nameset of popular Senegalese striker, Henri Camara, who formed an outstanding strike partnership with teammate, Jason Roberts.
Teammates: Including Kilbane, Kirkland, Baines, Unsworth, Valencia de Zeeuw & Heskey.
Condition: Excellent. Minor wear to number on nameset and a couple of faints marks on the reverse (see photos). Otherwise this shirt is in fabulous condition.
Dimensions: Pit-to-Pit= 57cm / Collar-to-Hem= 67cm.
