1998/99 Italy Away Football Shirt (S) Nike #3 Maldini

Information: Official Nike Italy Away football shirt from 1998/99, as worn by ‘Gli Azzurri’ mostly famously worn at the 1998 World Cup where the Nike Swoosh was not included in the design due to federation regulation. Italy were knocked out on penalties at the Quarter Final stage by the hosts and eventual winners.  The reverse of the shirt boasts the nameset of national legend, Paolo Maldini, who made 126 appearances for his country and is widely regarded as one of the greatest defenders of all time.  A fantastic vintage jersey, ideal for a collection of your own or the perfect gift for any football fan.

Condition:  Excellent.  Pristone colours, smooth material, no bobbles, snags or holes.  One very faint stain to front lower right  area but only visible on close inspection under bright light.  Stitched team badge and embroidered Nike logo are superb.  Plater name and numbers are mint.  Collar, sleeve and hems are perfect.  What a lovely shirt.
