Information: Official Nike Glasgow Rangers home football shirt from the 1998/99 season, as worn when the club finished runners up in both the Scottish Premier League and Scottish Cup in the 1997-98 season before winning a domestic treble in the next season. The shirt boasts the nameset of combative Italian international midfielder, Gennaro Gattuso, who played a single season for Rangers in 97/98. Walter Smith, who brought the Italian to Ibrox, left the club in 98. His successor, Dick Advocaat, did not favour the feisty midfielder and, after being played out-of-position as a right-back, was sold in October 1998 to then recently promoted Serie A club Salernitana for £4 million. From there on, Gattuso profile grew and grew earning him a move to AC Milan in 1999 and going on to play over 300 games for Milan and making over 70 appearances for his country.
