Information: Official Umbro England away football shirt from 1997/99, as worn by ‘The Three Lions’ at the FIFA 1998 World Cup in France, where the side were unlucky to lose out to Argentina on penalties in the Round of 16. This stunning jersey design was also worn when England won 'Le Tournoi' in France a year earlier. The reverse of the shirt boasts the nameset of English football icon, Paul 'Gazza' Gascoigne, who was described by fellow Geordie legend Jackie Milburn as "the best player in the world". After winning the hearts of the nation at Italy 90, Gascoigne appeared for his country 57 times, becoming a firm fan favourite. A fantastic vintage jersey, ideal for a collection of your own or the perfect gift for any football fan.
Teammates: Including Shearer, Sheringham, Beckham, Campbell, Adams & Seaman.
Condition: Excellent. Internal Umbro neck label has been cut.
Dimensions: Pit-to-Pit = 59cm / Collar-to-Hem = 74cm.
