1997/98 Chelsea Home Football Shirt (L) Umbro #9 Vialli

Information: Official Umbro Chelsea home football shirt from 1997/98, as worn by 'The Blues' during a successful season where they won both the League Cup and UEFA Cup Winners Cup. The reverse of the shirt boasts the nameset of the late great Italian striker, Gianluca Vialli, who became player coach of Chelsea in 1998 after the sacking of Ruud Gullit, guiding the club to a respectable 4th place finish, as well as finishing as the club's top scorer. A fantastic vintage jersey, ideal for a collection of your own or the perfect gift for any football fan.

Condition: Excellent. Superb colours, material is smooth with a few bobbles, a few marks to the front right sleeve and midriff (see photos), no pulls, tears or holes. Embroidered manufacturer logo and stitched club badge are excellent, as is flock chest sponsor. Flock player nameset on reverse like new. Collar, sleeves and hem are in fabulous condition.
