Information: Official Kappa Barcelona away football shirt from the 1997/98 season, as worn when Louis van Gaal guided the side to a La Liga and Copa del Rey double in his first season in charge. The signing of Rivaldo from Deportivo La Coruña would prove to be a masterstroke and an appropriate replacement for compatriot Ronaldo, who again broke the world record transfer fee in a £19.5 million switch to Inter Milan. Rivaldo would score 28 goals in 52 games across all competitions, cementing his place as a Barca regular and a player the team could depend on for both flair and end product.
Teammates: Including Figo, Rivaldo, Nadal, Guardiola & Luis Enrique.
Condition: Good. Bright colours. The material is showing signs of wear with number bobbles, pulls and snags. There are a few larger pulls on the front centre neck line, the left side of the from midriff, the reverse collar and beside the right reverse armpit (see photos). Despite the wear, this shirt is still a fabulous collectable item. The stitched badges are excellent and the upper front club detail and Kappa sleeve details printed within the material are superb.
Dimensions: Pit-to-Pit= 60cm / Collar-to-Hem= 70cm.
