Information: Official Hummel re-issue of the Denmark Home Football Shirt from the 1992/93 international season, as worn by the Danes during their surprise win at UEFA European Championship 1992. For copyright reasons the shirt does not include the national team badge, but does boast player #9, as worn by Flemming Povlsen, the former PSV and Dortmund striker, who played all five Denmark matches at the tournament.
Denmark's qualification for the tournament is what makes their subsequent triumph all the more unique, since they initially failed to qualify for the tournament, having finished 2nd in their qualifying group to Yugoslavia. Yugoslavia were subsequently suspended from competitive football by FIFA and UEFA following the outbreak of the Yugoslav Wars, so Denmark, as the next-best qualifier from the group, took their place at the tournament. Who'd have thought they would go on to win it?! Wow!
Teammates: Including Elstrup, Larsen, Laudrup, Jensen, Sivebaek, Olsen & Povlsen.
Condition: Excellent, near mint.
Dimensions: Pit-to-Pit= 55cm / Collar-to-Hem= 70cm.
