Information: Official Le Coq Sportif match issue Spain home football shirt from 1988/90, as worn by ‘La Roja’ during the 1988 UEFA European Championships in West Germany. The Spanish began the tournament superbly, beating Denmark, before defeats to the Italians and then the hosts halted further progress. The reverse of the shirt boasts the number 16 as worn by versatile midfielder, José María Bakero Escudero, who spent many years at firstly Real Sociedad and then Barcelona, representing his country 30 times and scoring 7 goals. A fantastic rare and highly collectable vintage jersey, ideal for a collection of your own or the perfect gift for any football fan.
