Information: Official Adidas Romania home football shirt from 1984/85, as worn by ‘Tricolorii’ for a single game before 1984 UEFA European Championship. Prior to the tournament, the then president of Romania, Nicolae Ceaușescu, decided he did not like the team crest, deciding to change it last minute for the Romanian communist instead, more commonly seen on this jersey. A wonderful rare piece of football history. A fantastically rare vintage jersey, ideal for a collection of your own or the perfect gift for any football fan.
Teammates: Including Stefanescu, Dragnea, Hagi, Camataru, Coras & Klein.
Condition: Excellent. Superb colours, smooth bobble free material, no holes, snags or markings. Superb embroidered team badge. Adidas trefoil extremely worn and faded, but still visible. Collar, sleeves and hems are in fabulous condition.
Dimensions: Pit-to-Pit = 50cm / Collar-to-Hem = 74cm.
