Information: Official Re-issue Benfica Away football shirt from 1966 by manufacturer Seuzela, as worn by ‘Águias’ when the side reached the quarter-finals of the European Cup, famously being undone by a George Best masterclass in the second leg as United triumphed 5-1. Despite having Eusebio in their ranks and playing in Lisbon, they were shocked as the British visitors blitzed them with a swashbuckling display that lived long in the memory. A fantastic vintage jersey, ideal for a collection of your own or the perfect gift for any football fan.
Teammates: Including Eusébio, Coluna, Torres, Santana, Simões & José Augusto.
Condition: Very Good. Bright colours, material in good condition with a few tiny bobbles and one pin hole on the right midriff (see photos). The very faintest of colour run from red detailing into white, visible on very close inspection. Jersey features a lovely stitched club badge. Collar, sleeve & hems in fabulous condition.
Dimensions: Pit-to-Pit = 47cm / Collar-to-Hem = 66cm.
