Information: Official Nike Italy Home Football Shirt from 1996/97, as worn by 'Gli Azzurri' during EURO 96 when the Italians were knocked out in the group stage of the competition, finishing 3rd in their group behind Germany and Czech Republic. The reverse of the shirt boasts the nameset of Gianfranco Zola, who famously built his reputation during his 8 year stint at Chelsea. Surprisingly he only made 35 appearances for Italy but scored an impressive 10 goals. A fantastic vintage jersey, ideal for a collection of your own or the perfect gift for any football fan.

Condition: Excellent. Very good colours, smooth material with almost no bobbles. One small stain on lower reverse hem (see photos). Superb team badge and manufacturer logo. Lovely flock player nameset in excellent condition, with very faint press marks visible on close inspection. Collar, sleeves and hems are excellent. A fabulous jersey.
