Information: Official Adidas Japan home football shirt from 2004/05, as worn by ‘Samurai Blue’ when they won the AFC Asian Cup in 2004, hosted by great rivals China, who they beat in the final. The reverse of the shirt boasts the nameset of set-piece specialist Shunsuke Nakamura, once of Celtic, who represented his country 98 times. The shirt is an official player version jersey with a blue mesh 'dual layer' inner-lining, along with heat-pressed team badge and manufacturer logo. Asian market issue, so has internal wash labels for the region. A fantastic vintage jersey, ideal for a collection of your own or the perfect gift for any football fan.
Teammates: Including Kawaguchi, Nakata, Ono, Takahara, Inamoto & Santos.
Condition: Excellent. Superb colours, material is smooth and bobble-free with light fading to the shoulders, one small mark to the right shoulder, no snags, holes or tears. Heat-pressed manufacturer logo and team badge are excellent, as is vinyl player nameset to reverse. AFC 'Fair Play 'and 'Dragon Soccer' stitched patches to sleeves are in wonderful condition, as are collar, sleeves and hem.
